The Machineart studio is located on the edge of a cornfield in a former farm building that was once home to 10,000 chickens. Worn wooden columns, pock-marked over many years by pecking beaks, divide the workstations from the mockup area, while a model shop and paint spray booth occupy the far end of the space. Products designed by Machineart greet visitors in a display area next to the conference room. Just a few miles outside of Frenchtown, this low-key farm setting belies the innovation going on inside.
